High Diploma in Architecture

Kalaldeh began his architectural education at the Hochschule für Architektur und Bauwesen (HAB) in Weimar, graduating in 1987. In 1994, the university reclaimed its original name, Bauhaus University Weimar, continuing the legacy of the Bauhaus movement, which integrates art, technology, and functional design. Renowned for its contributions to architecture and urban planning, Bauhaus University fosters creativity, critical thinking, and an interdisciplinary approach—principles that have greatly influenced Kalaldeh’s methodology in urban planning and development.

His academic achievements, combined with extensive professional experience, position him as a leading authority in urban planning, transportation systems, and sustainable city development. While his education at Bauhaus University Weimar shaped his design philosophy—emphasizing modernity, functionality, and efficiency—he has remained deeply connected to his Levantine heritage. This fusion of Bauhaus principles with regional identity is evident in the architectural style of his buildings, where contemporary design harmonizes with cultural and environmental context.

By blending modernist influences with the vernacular traditions of the Levant, Kalaldeh has developed a unique architectural approach that respects both global design trends and local heritage, ensuring that his work remains relevant, sustainable, and deeply rooted in the communities he serves.
